Our life journey is deeply personal, and each of us carries unique experiences that shape who we are. I understand that there are times when we all need a little extra support, and I’m here to help guide you through those moments. Together, we will embark on a journey of personal growth and self-discovery that fosters healing and understanding.
With a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, along with a postgraduate certificate in addictions treatment, I bring over a decade of experience in mental health, addictions, and the justice fields. I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, tailored support that effectively addresses the unique needs of individuals and couples.
I offer individual and couples therapy services, recognizing that everyone’s path is different. In addition to general therapy, I specialize in addiction counseling, emotion management, and trauma-informed approaches to provide you with the support you need.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Humanistic principles, creating a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I primarily work with techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, often weaving these methods together. We will work collaboratively to identify your goals and address any concerns you may have, taking steps toward positive self-growth.
I also extend my practice to support couples through the Gottman Method Couples Therapy approach. This approach is built on the Sound Relationship House Theory, helping couples navigate conflict, develop resolutions, and enhance their everyday interactions. Together, we will focus on repairing the friendship, deepening love, and creating shared meaning within the relationship.
If you or someone you know could use a little extra support, I’m here to help! You don’t have to face this journey alone; I’m here to walk alongside you.
